STEP-Abu Dhabi Link Sewer LS01 & LS02,UAE

The LS01 and LS02 Contracts comprise the design, procurement and construction of 35.8 km and 15.3 km gravity link sewers including access manholes/ shafts covering the link sewers on Abu Dhabi Island and Yas Island and the main link sewers between Officers City and Al Wathba respectively for the Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Programme (STEP).

Contract LS01 is located at Abu Dhabi Island (CBD) and consists of the construction of 35,8km sewerage network diameters ranging from 200mm to 2800mm and 247 shafts for manholes with a depth between 8m to 26m.

Contract LS02 is located on Abu Dhabi Main Land (Residential and Industrial Area) and consists of 15,3km of sewerage network with diameters ranging from 200mm to 3100mm and 95 shafts for manholes with a depth between 8m to 40m.

The tunnelling works were carried out by pipe jacking methods.
