The Energy City Qatar Parcel H-01 Package 2 construction works consisted of the turnkey construction of three low-rise business building serving as corporate office centres with leasable office space. One building consists of a ground floor plus six upper floors and the roof, while the two other buildings have a ground floor plus four upper floors and the roof.
All three buildings are connected with a joint basement consisting of a three-level underground car park with an overall total built-up area of approx. 95,000 m² on a plot measuring 25,100 m². The structures were constructed to the highest standards complying with the US Green Building Council LEED Certification requirements for energy efficiency.
Energy City Qatar, the region’s first integrated 35 km² business development, is located approximately 10 km north of the city of Doha. Dedicated to the hydrocarbon industry, Energy City Qatar provides a single point of access to markets and expertise in order to bring energy industry leadership together in one location, attracting investment from significant global players in the hydrocarbon chain and providing access to state-of-the-art technologies, data centre technology, internationally acclaimed management services, intelligent traffic and parking management systems, high technology safety and security systems, and other services provided by the city management.
Energy City Qatar is well connected to current and proposed transport links including the proposed light rail network (which was scheduled for completion in 2018) with a dedicated station serving Energy City Qatar.
