Construction of Adam Airbase (Package 2)

The scope of works awarded to STRABAG Oman by The Ministry of Defense included the construction of a parallel taxiway, 2 connecting taxiways from the runway, 7 connecting taxiways to the aprons, a concrete apron, the ground lighting for the airfield, an AGL substation and a high-mast floodlighting system, among other related installations. The contract also provided for the construction of Fighter aircraft hangers, Engine test running pad and Blast deflectors, Aircraft Arrestor Gear & Net Barrier System.
