Gerald Zangl joined STRABAG in 1986 and possesses extensive experience as a trained business administrator and controller. His tenure within STRABAG’s tunnelling division dates back to 2003, during which time he played a key role in overseeing commercial aspects of significant projects like the Niagara Tunnel and the Gotthard Base Tunnel. In the early 2010s, Gerald took on leadership of the offshore wind unit at STRABAG and subsequently assumed responsibility for the Canadian and UK business units, based in Toronto. As STRABAG expanded its presence in the UK, he focused on the British market and served as STRABAG’s UK Commercial Managing Director from 2016 onwards.
In 2021, he was appointed to the Management Board with oversight of the International and Tunnelling division. Gerald Zangl has dedicated nearly his entire career to STRABAG AG.
